Terms of Service
Terms governing use of the website and services ordered from ExpandLane LLC.
1. Website operator and contact
This website and its services are operated by ExpandLane LLC, located at 28 Geary St, Ste 650 #608, San Francisco, CA 94108, United States. Contact: support@expandlane.com.
2. Services
ExpandLane provides Website Support, IT Consulting, and Digital Business Support directly to its customers as the service provider and merchant of record for the order. Work may include website updates, technical research and setup, documentation, reporting, digital administration, and approved vendor follow-up. The website does not onboard independent sellers, hold customer funds, or distribute funds for third parties. Services are performed remotely and delivered digitally; no physical shipping is offered.
3. Packages, quotes, and acceptance
Each published package has a defined scope and a starting price in USD. Larger, urgent, or multi-system work requires a written quote. A scope confirmation or quote identifies deliverables, price, currency, expected timing, delivery method, dependencies, and known third-party costs. An order is accepted after the scope is confirmed and any required payment is completed.
4. Prices, taxes, and payment
The server verifies the package, amount, currency, and schedule before opening checkout. Payment is processed by the secure payment provider displayed during checkout, and only methods eligible for the merchant configuration, shopper country, currency, amount, device, and risk context are displayed. ExpandLane does not receive a full card number or security code. Applicable taxes or fees are shown before final confirmation when required.
A payment may require additional authentication. A browser message alone is not final proof of payment; status depends on the authoritative provider result and local records. If a result is still being checked, use the payment-status link and do not start another payment until the outcome is resolved.
5. Recurring support plans
Public starter packages are offered as one-time projects, while the Digital Business Support Plan is offered as an optional monthly plan. Any other schedule is available only through a written proposal or secure administrator-issued payment request. A recurring plan starts only after its amount, currency, frequency, charging rule, and cancellation terms are displayed and separately approved. Consent authorises the payment provider to retain a payment-method token and use it for scheduled charges. Future billing may be cancelled through the protected billing-management link or by contacting support before the next cycle begins.
ExpandLane does not automatically change an approved plan amount or frequency without fresh approval where required. No automatic trial or promotional-price period is currently offered. If one is introduced, its duration, later price, cancellation terms, and required reminder will be displayed before consent.
6. Delivery and acceptance
Expected timing begins after payment and scope confirmation and after required access or materials are received. Delivery may be by email, shared file or link, repository handoff, written instructions, or an agreed online meeting. Client delays may pause the timeline. See Delivery Information.
7. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, instructions, materials, and feedback on time.
- Have the right to share and use all content, accounts, and files supplied.
- Use an agreed secure method for access credentials and never send payment secrets.
- Review deliverables and report a problem within a reasonable time.
- Pay third-party charges not expressly included in the written scope.
8. Revisions and additional scope
The service includes only the written deliverables. New requests, extra revisions, or delays caused by new materials may require an updated quote or separately approved payment.
9. Intellectual property
Each party retains its pre-existing intellectual property. After amounts due are paid, the customer receives the rights or licence to final deliverables described in the scope. General tools, templates, methods, know-how, and background materials remain with their owner. Third-party materials remain subject to their licences.
10. Cancellation and refunds
The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains eligibility and how to make a request. Cancelling a recurring plan stops future cycles after cancellation is recorded; it does not automatically refund a completed charge.
11. Third-party providers
A service may depend on payment, hosting, email, domain, storage, or customer-selected tool providers. Their services are subject to their own terms and availability. ExpandLane cannot guarantee payment acceptance or uninterrupted third-party features, but known external costs will be identified in the written scope where reasonably possible.
12. Requests we do not accept
ExpandLane may reject or stop work that is unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or violates intellectual property, privacy, account security, or a platform’s rules. ExpandLane does not provide legal, tax, investment, banking, medical, or other regulated professional advice.
13. Warranty and liability
Services are performed with reasonable care against the agreed scope, but no business outcome, provider approval, or uninterrupted third-party operation is guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This does not limit mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of California and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in San Francisco County, California have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law gives you a different non-waivable right. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern directly.
15. Changes and consent records
These terms may be updated for future orders. The update date is displayed, and the site may retain the version or hash accepted by a customer. Material changes affecting a recurring plan will be presented before they apply where required by law.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms or an order can be sent to support@expandlane.com. Include the order reference when available.
